Borondo continues travelling through Italy where he recently painted this wonderful collaboration with Canemorto in an abandoned building in Bologna.
Stylistically are they very different, but the expressiveness of their brushstrokes make this collaboration unique. Borondo’s madonna, created through rich lines and that singular unfinished style meet Canemorto’s almost De Kooning-ish figure of the child. A perfect symbiosis.
