AEC-Interesni-Kazki-Ayia-Napa_Cyprus-1

AEC from the duo Interesni Kazki is now in Cyprus where he recently painted this new and beautiful mural for the Ayia Napa Street Art Festival in Ayia Napa, Cyprus.
This stunning mural, titled “Reappearance of Ancient Civilization”, makes reference to the history of Ayia Napa and what it is now, a high tourist location, but also to the legend of its origins. According to local legend, the place was accidentally discovered by a hunter in pursuit of his prey. Upon discovery, the icon of the Virgin Mary was called Virgin Mary of Napa, being eventually shortened and now known as Ayia Napa.
Lovely work.
