Bowery was released last night way too late for me to wait for it so, here it is, the morning after.
The artist starts with the sentence “Welcome to the fair, which life isn’t” and continues on philosophising about the fragility of life and the meaning of existence. Why are we here? Its a question I ask myself every bloody day.
Anyway, the piece is apparently based on Banksy’s famous “Brace Yourself” canvas son in a way nothing to new, but still pretty entertaining.
The piece is located at Billy’s antiques old spot on 76 E Houston St. and has already been visited by a lot of people as the pic below shows. Btw, the idiots on top of that car almost destroy it.
The Installation will be open Tonight through Sunday, dusk until midnight.
