Bumblebee and Zio Ziegler collaborated in this new mural for Branded Arts is at it again with this new collaboration somewhere in Venice, California.
According to Zio Ziegler he paints how he feels, not how he sees. He leans on instinct readily, working without much of a plan or conscious awareness of content and there is no clear meaning in his pieces, their meanings are as ephemeral as the process itself. Maybe that’s because his work seem so enigmatic to us.
On the other hand we have Bumblebee with a focus on themes of innocence, communication and coming of age, Bumblebee’s stencil and sculptural works are most often rendered in the simple, but instantly identifiable colour palette of yellow and black. His work ranges from small urban interventions to large-scale mural projects that address and work to raise awareness of issues such as youth homelessness.
This new mural represents a wonderful mix of both artist style and imagery, creating something unique and eye-catching and if you are lucky enough to be around you will find it on 1415 Abbot Kinney Blvd, Venice, CA 90291.
