Ukrainian artist Teck recently painted a series of murals in memory of those who lost their lives during the protests in Ukraine. The mural above and the one below are dedicated to Yuri Verbitsky and Sergey Nihoyan, two of the first victims of the revolution. The third mural, entitled ‘Repose of body and soul’ is dedicated to the people of Ukraine.
As usual in Teck’s work we are confronted with the solemnity of his icon-like painting, beautifully adorned by graphic elements and meaning, being these 3 pieces a good example of that.
