The Spanishart collective Pichi & Avo or Pichiavo painted this impressive street piece for the Mislatas representan 2014 event organized about a week ago in Valencia, Spain.
Even if Pichiavo is relatively new to me, I never stop being surprised by their ability to mix graffiti and hyper-realistic painting, usually depicting greek sculpture-like figures like the one we see here.
According to Pichiavo, the whole started in 2007 and since they have been covering the streets of Valencia and mainly Spain with murals charged of vibrant colours and beautiful hints of surrealism. Lovely piece, that’s for sure.
