Buff Diss was recently in China where he created this new mural based on the Orpheus & Eurydice myth for the Fubon Art Foundation in Taipei.
His designs are intricate, well thought-out and easily removable and like a spider weaves a web, he spins wicked 3D tape images adding something very special to the urban landscape.
This mural seems to illustrate the following part of the myth:
“In the deep still woods upon the Thracian mountains
Orpheus with his singing lyre led the trees,
Led the wild beasts of the wilderness.”
A rather hypnotic addition to their collection.
