Graphic designer and illustrator Antonio Segura Donat aka DULK is now in Zaragoza, Spain where he just finished this incredible mural for this year’s Asalto Festival.
DULK’s work is easy to spot and recognise. He describes himself as “a hungry and insatiable all terrain illustrator” whose style is “an explosive combination of influences like Caravaggio’s tenebrism or the obsessive detail brushwork of Flemish painting, all mixed with a bizarre, burlesque and affectionate touch that makes it compact, direct and very honest.” Well, maybe. One thing is sure, his lively murals seem sprung directly from his vivid imagination giving us access to a new vibrant and alternative and magic world. A nice addition to this year’s festival.
In addition to this wall, DULK will be launching a new print this week in collaboration with Plastic Murs so stay tuned!
