This new mural by young Argentinian artist Fran Bosoletti was painted as part of the Arte de la calle event in Viedma, Argentina.
Painted somewhere in Barrio Curru Leuvu, “Metamorphosis” shows that transformation of a man, into a bouquet of tulips, or maybe just the other way around. The style of Francisco Bosoletti, born in Armstrong Argentina in 1988, combines a classisistic style mixed with a hint of social awareness. His chosen symbol is the, the tulip representing the world of ‘financial speculation’, a real issue in todays’s Argentina. With vigorous brushwork and a palette of earth tones, Bosoletti explores the feminine and masculine sides of his characters directed by the inevitable tulip elements interacting with the energetic line work that defines the composition.
A work that not only is decorative, but that also express a deeper meaning, both his interior life and the society his is part of.
