Parentesi Aperte: CT Grand Tour is Italian artist CT latest solo show curated by Alessandra Loalè at Studio D’Ars Milano.
Through the years CT has developed a fresh new style of graffiti of his own, going from a so-called wild style to focus on a simplified bold-faced kind of lettering that plays with bold fonts, straight angles and bubbly curves, an experience he also brings to his gallery work.
The new body of work is in many ways a direct product of CT’s study of his surroundings and particularly abandoned industrial areas in Turin where he currently works and lives.
In addition to a series of paintings created specially for the occasion, the exhibition features objects and photographs intended to illustrate the relationship between the work presented and CT’s own research giving the visitors a unique possibility to experience both the process and the means of his work making Parentesi Aperte: CT Grand Tour a trip through the artist’s mind and creative force.
