Italian artist Tellas is yet another amazing artist participating of this year’s ALT!rove Festival in Catanzaro, Italy.
Titled “Profondo Sud”, (Deep South) the new mural represents Tellas own interpretation of the festival’s main idea based on the concept of Abstractism – Place/Space where artists are given free rein to rethink and rearrange the urban landscape in the form of a very personal work of art.
Painted in the Materdomini district next to the Academy of Fine Art and just a few blocks from Alberonero’s mural (here), the new wall depicts a gradient of colours going from cold to warm with organic elements floating all over the “canvas” like dragged by a whirlwind. A beautiful example of Tellas work characterized by his constant visual research for the essential in nature and organic forms expressed by a minimalistic and poetic style that owns a unique and quiet beauty.
