This great piece of art is the work of Los Angeles based artist Augustine Kofie who recently finished this new mural for the always amazing All City Canvas street art festival and Hermann Miller.
Active in the graffiti community since mid-nineties, Kofie’s work reflects a wide range of interests that go from architectural templates to deconstructed lettering, vintage collage paper, contemporary music and 1960’s-70′s iconography. In a constant quest for balance, composes Kofie futuristic compositions in wonderful vintage earth-toned palettes, creating in this way “organically complex formations through meticulously structured line-work and layering”. This beautiful new mural is no exception.
