
As usual his silhouetted trees seem to invade the painted surface in an attempt to bring nature back to the urban space. Delicate and poetic ‘The first sense’ is based on the writings of Jan Svankmajer, a Czech artist and filmmaker who said that the sense of touch is the first to experiences a human being, an idea that here is depicted through the two trees trying to ’embrace’ each other.
