Argentinian artist Francisco Díaz aka Pastel is back in Argentina where he just finished this new mural in the streets of Buenos Aires.
Painted in barrio La Paternal and titled Huemul, the new mural depicts Patel’s signature imagery, populated by local flora, arrows and a South Andean deer commonly known as the Chilean guemal or huemul.
We know that Pastel usually draws his inspiration from the native nature of the places he visits, but an Andean deer in Buenos Aires is a bit odd having in consideration that their natural habitat is located on the other side of the Argentinian Pampa.
