During the past year Spanish painters and muralists Manolo Mesa and Sebastian Velasco have collaborated in a series of new pieces, being this last one, one of the most interesting to date.
Painted in Niort, France for the En Vie Urbaine festival, an event dedicated to celebrate urban and Hip-Hop culture, the new work consists of two separate portraits painted on the same square structure. One of them shows the image of a young man covering his face with both hands, whilst the second one shows the same man seen from behind. The result is an interesting expression of both artists signature imagery and style integrated in a seamless and haunting way.
