Argentinian artist and architect Pastel is now in Mexico where he recently finished this new mural in the well-known Mexican paradise Playa del Carmen.
Titled “Pre-hispanic conquest”, the new mural explores the issue of pre-Hispanic times portraying (as usual) plants native to the region using that signature colour scale that has characterised his murals during the last year, petroleum blues, greys and dark reds give shape to a mythical flora over a soft background of light pink and brown.
