Fintan Magee is now in Puerto Rico invited by Santurce Es Ley and for which he painted this new and magnificent mural.
Titled ‘Glass Half Full’, the new mural depicts the image of a local boy from San Juan in Puerto Rico carrying an iceberg as water levels rise around him. It’s about ecological concerns about rising sea levels, increasing natural disasters and other consequences of climate change that, as the artist explains, are a huge threat to small nations whose economies dependant on fishing, tourism and agriculture. Muralism with a message, we love that.
