Alessandro Battisti, also known as ETNIK, sent a couple of days ago a few images of his last wall painted in sunny Ayia Napa, Cyprus for the Ayia Napa Street Art Festival.
The new mural continues ETNIK’s explorations dedicated to the study of the city and can be considered as an extension of ETNIK’s ongoing project “Prospect Cities”. Started back in 2003 this methodical approach to the urban landscape and painting has defined his style and imagery focusing on an interesting mix of architecture, graffiti and illustration, where juxtaposed structures and perspectives of a deconstructed urban environment disintegrates and is put together again in order to express its essence.
