WAONE, the one half of the popular duo Interesni Kazki known for his colourful murals, finally managed to make one of his dreams come true – to paint a line based black and White mural.
According to WAONE, the new mural is the product of a 4-year wish inspired by a visit to  the German St.Ottilien abbey’s library back in October 2012 when he rediscovered the magic of engraving. Since then, he had dreamed of being able to paint a wall that could, in some way, express that magic. Titled “Matter Changing States” and painted somewhere in the Varkala area this new mural is the realisation of that wish. As explained by WAONE:
‘The idea of this work appears in my mind when my brain was melting and evaporating under the strong sun of South India. Being there for the 5th time suddenly I caught myself thinking about changes, which have taken place in such wild and distant from civilization regions. Later I`ve heard locals talking about abnormal heat and lack of rains during recent monsoon. This also reminded me the man from Kashmir, complained about the cold snaps in the Northern India, while we drank chai on the street of Delhi. Later I remembered how we were lucky to enjoy the coldest winter in Florida ever, during the mural project in Gainesville, expecting to warm up after cold NYC.  So now I’m sure that climate change is a fact.’ – Vladimir Interesni Kazki
