Here a few images of Luigi Loquarto aka Gig‘s newest piece painted for the public library in Trani, his hometown.
The new mural is representative of Lui Gig’s work based on an artistic research focusing on the figure of the stone, a natural element so characteristic of the Puglia region where he currently resides.
The present mural is particularly inspired by dry stone walls and the “trulli“, a traditional Apulian dry stone hut with a conical roof, but also by pebble beaches so characteristic of the region. His painting representing the accumulations of such natural elements, hence the title of this new mural “Accumulo”.
