American born artist James Bullough just finished this new mural for the always amazing Art United us project in Kiev, Ukraine.
Curated by Waone from Interesni Kazki, Iryna Kanishcheva and photographer Geo Leros, the new mural is a good example of work. Hyperrealistic and fractured images, sliced and rearranged, making us explore the painted surface in order to find order and balance.
This particular mural was titled “Rise” and addresses current conflicts across the globe. As explained by the artist, “at a time when conflict and confusion have a hold in so many corners of the globe, ‘Rise’ speaks to the ability each of us has within ourselves to transcend the turmoil swirling around us and break free of the chaos caused by others.” – James Bullough
