Contemporary visual artist Alex Brewer, better known as HENSE, is one of the international artists that recently visited Italy for this year’s FestiWall.
Titled “Ragusa sun” and painted at the E. Fermi High School, the work is part of a winning project for the European Social Challenge project, a platform and space where social challenges meet powerful and innovative solutions like the recovery of Ragusa’s suburbs.
As in the rest of his work, HENSE incorporates lines, shapes and gestural painting in order to create colourful abstract compositions that in this case dramatically transform the school’s surroundings.
