Banksy Website Update: 'Mobile Lovers'
Banksy just updated his website with this new piece showing the image of a couple being more interested in looking to their mobile phones than to each other. Lovely piece that some have called “Mobile Lovers”. The location is still unkown, but we know that Banksy is currently in the UK. Great news he is back….

New Banksy in Cheltenham, UK?
Well, everything points in that direction after Fragile posted a few pics of this piece with the hashtag #guesswhoisback updating later the location to Cheltenham, home of the GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters). The new perfectly executed stencil shows the image of three government secret agents quietly spying on a phone, making in this way reference to the recent surveillance scandals. Lovely piece!

Banksy Teams Up with BNE for World Water Day
Shortly after his unexpected alignment with the #WithSyria campaign, BNE.org has announced that Banksy has also joined their “Artists 4 Water” international art project. The project works to “raise awareness and funds to help solve the world water crisis.” Funds will be raised for charity: water, a New York based non-profit Organization that works every day to reinvent charity while bringing clean drinking…

Banksy Day 29: ‘ The banality of the banality of evil ‘
Today’s Banksy piece is nothing less than a repainted painting entitled ‘The banality of the banality of evil’ (Oil on oil on canvas) showing the image of a German officer sitting and contemplating an idyllic landscape. According to the artist “a thrift store painting vandalised then re-donated to the thrift store.” That thrift store is…

Banksy Day 28: Coney Island
Day 28 is here and Banksy just unveiled a new piece, a classic stencil with the image of his iconic robot spraying a barcode… The piece is located on Stillwell and Neptune Ave and as we have seen earlier it will probably be surrounded by people in less than an hour.

Banksy Day 27: Greenpoint
Todays Banksy is a wall that reads “This site contains blocked messages” , making reference to his unpublished article on The New York Times… actually they rejected the whole thing (see photo below). The artist adds the following message on his website “Today’s piece was going to be an op-ed column in the New York Times. But…

Banksy’s New Alternative New York Bumper Slogan
Banksy’s new piece is an alternative New York bumper slogan painted on a truck in Sunset Park as the piece was called. The message is simple and direct “The grumpier you are, the more assholes you meet”… which is, to some extent, true. The truck is now parked on 47th St and 2nd Ave, but…

Banksy on Death
Bowery was released last night way too late for me to wait for it so, here it is, the morning after. The artist starts with the sentence “Welcome to the fair, which life isn’t” and continues on philosophising about the fragility of life and the meaning of existence. Why are we here? Its a question…

Banksy… Waiting In Vain
Today’s Banksy piece is a stencil showing the image of a man holding a bouquet of withered flowers, waiting outside a theatre… on the side of the Hustler Club in Hell’s Kitchen. The question is… Who is waiting? Us, the artist, love, the police maybe? And why? His caption reads, “Waiting in vain…at the door of…

Today’s New Banksy Was…Cancelled Due Police Activity
Today’s Banksy update was cancelled due “police activity”, which probably is the piece of the day. In his latest post, Banksy writes that, “Today’s art has been cancelled due to police activity.” Does this mean Banksy was arrested? Or did the police just disrupt whatever he was working on? Anyway, we will see tomorrow (or maybe tonight)….
