Know Hope, is one of the artists taking part in this year’s Pow! Wow! Hawaii event in Honolulu where painted these two beautiful pieces, one of them painted on a side wall of a local car shop.
As usual with this American-born and Tel Aviv-based artist, the style is minimalistic with a very defined and basic colour palette.
The new mural reads: “These ripples, they’re from elsewhere (and we, we’re here)” and the scene here presented shows the image of one of Know Hope’s characters immersed into a sea of tears. The tears come from small and almost invisible birds flying over this sea and create small ripples whilst our character tries to touch and feel them. Such a simple and beautiful murals…
