2501 x Artmossphere Biennale of Street art In Moscow

Italian artist 2501 was one of the few artists that actually had the opportunity to paint at this years Artmossphere Biennale of Street Art.
The new mural was titled “Grammar Of Shapes” and features 2501’s characteristic and almost hypnotic line work in a monochromatic color scheme that emphasizes his technique.
It’s also this wavy line work of solid black that gives his work a certain sense of 3-dimensionality and softness, even when confronted with the otherwise stiff, geometrical shapes he paints. It is this ability to switch between figuration and abstraction that amazes the viewer the most.
