French artists Lek and Sowat spent a week in the city of Evry, France painted probably their biggest mural to date.
‘Evry Day I’m Hustlin’ as the mural was titled was painted in occasion of the Evry Centre Essone Street Art Festival on one of the massive walls of the University of Evry-Val-de-Seine, a150 feet long and 27 feet high wall.
The mural is an abstract composition made of graphic lines, colorful shapes and repetitive calligraphies, and is according to the artists a tribute to the colossal wall paintings that flourished in the 70s alongside France’s freeways and tunnels.
