Colombian street artist Bastardilla was a few weeks ago in France where she participated in a bigger mural project on rue d’Aubervilliers in Paris’ XIX arrondissement along with artists like Tatyana Fazlizade, Kashink and Katjastrophe Zepha, shaping their vision of coexistence on the 400 meters long wall in occasion of the ”Rosa Parks fait le mur” exhibition.
Bastardilla’s wall is a powerful reminder of the situation thousands and thousands of migrants experience each day while trying to reach a safe port in Europe, in a desperate attempt to escape war and oppression, and maybe how western countries deal with it.
