Internationally acclaimed artist Mike Dargas will be debuting at Opera Gallery with his first solo exhibition in London
Painting since the age of three, the Cologne-based artist has carved an incredibly successful career as a painter spending the last years working on powerful photographic oil paintings that er so perfect that you can’t almost tell if it is a photograph or a work of art.
Inspired by Dali, Caravaggio and HR Giga, Mike Dargas began to focus on surrealism and realism.
His works show the pictures of people, painted with such a love for precision, that draws the viewer into a dreamlike world where time has suspended, sharing with us a snapshot of the moment and transporting us into a world of intimacy and sensuality.
Mike Dargas’ solo exhibition will run from the 6th to the 20th of July, introducing his work to the contemporary London art scene.
