A few days ago met Johannes Mundinger and Sebastian Bagge and Julio Rölle from 44 Flavours in Hamm, Germany invited to take part of the UFAM Ruhr festival an interdisciplinary art convention featuring contemporary art in public spaces over 20 venues in Hamm, Hagen, Dortmund, Herten and Essen, all cities within the German Ruhr area.
Thirty artists were invited to paint walls, do performances and give workshops, complemented by exhibitions showing the work of the participating artists and the presentation of the results of all interventions as large-format prints.
This new mural marks a new step in a series of pervious collaborations. Even though they have participated in lots of exhibition and events together their never painted a wall together before, and the result is stunning. Characterised by improvisation and great fluidity of the composition they managed to achieve a pictorial symbiosis rarely seeing in street art. Needless to say, a great collaborative piece.
