Spanish multimedia artist and muralism Elbi Elem sent a few images of her last mural painted for the Mes Que Murs festival in Valencia, Spain.
Titled “Sense”, the new mural is characteristic of Elbi Elem’s work and follows here obsession with movement and balance, where an interplay of curves, lines and 2D planes create a dynamic and balanced composition, that adds that subtle touch of 3 dimensionality.
According to the artist, the idea was to integrate the surrounding architecture and urban elements into the work. Elbi Elem explains the idea as follows:
“Taking into account the colours of the adjacent buildings and using an anamorphic perspective, the abstract composition is able to form part of the environment in turn and leave outside the wall when observing it from a certain point of the square, involving also the neighbours or the one who observes it, altering their perception.”
