Tomorrow, on Sunday June 11th, Turin-based Punto618 Art Gallery will be presenting a new group show that titled ‘Voracity’, will featuring the work of 7 artists, in particular 7 illustrators from the world of Urban Art and Contemporary Muralism: ELPH – LUCA LEDDA – MR FIJODOR – NEMCO – ORMA IL VIANDANTE – SEACREATIVE – ZED1.
In occasion of the exhibition, the artists were asked to represent visually one of the recurring aspects of contemporary society: Voracity, understood as insatiability in everyday life, greed for approval and pleasure, longing for time, places, emotions, feelings and commodities. The idea behind the exhibition is to explore the concept of greed and whether it can bring something constructive with it, or if it just mainly a destructive force.
Voracity is the gallery’s second project in collaboration with SAT_Street Art Tourino. The exhibition is curated by Claudia de Giorgis founder and manager of the SAT Project.
The exhibition opens tomorrow, Sunday June 11th and runs through August 5th at the gallery located on via Cesare Battisti 2 in Venaria Reale, Turin.
Located in the historical centre of Venaria Reale, Punto618 Art Gallery is a hot spot that aims to promote young emerging artists. The gallery deals mainly with the work of street artists, whose work is meant to reach a larger audience by being painted in the streets. The gallery’s goal is to invest in both progress, change, and international dialogue by promoting the artistic and cultural evolution that this art movement has brought to our times.
